elle daniel’s lamp shades featured in Sarasota Herald Tribune

Sarasota, FL – I was recently interviewed by Maggie Menderski, a Retail Reporter at the Sarasota Herald Tribune. In the interview, I discuss my passion to create lamp shades that brighten people’s lives. Unfortunately, lampshades are often an afterthought in home decor — even though they deserve the same attention as throw pillows and sofas. No interior design should be weighed down by generic white lamp shades.

In the article, I also discuss the growing desire and demand for unique and handmade decor. Consumers are growing weary of mass-produced home decor that does not add beauty and character to their lives. Since starting my lamp shade business, I have been filling that important gap. I love to add color and light to clients’ home decor, office decor, and commercial decor.
